I'm Josiah Martin, and I started Martin Media with a camera and one conviction: story comes before specs.
I'm a third-generation Alaskan. I grew up on the Kenai Peninsula, around the tourism world that runs on this place's beauty and the people willing to show up for it. I studied psychology and business at UAF, and somewhere between the classroom and a camera I realized the two were the same job: helping good people tell the truth about what they've built, well enough that the right people notice.
So that's where I started, telling stories on video. And the work was good. But I kept seeing the same thing happen. A business would get great content, feel good about it, and then not much would change. It would sit there, or land in the wrong place, because it was never tied to a plan.
Because great content, on its own, isn't a strategy. The asset only matters if someone knows how to put it to work.
That's when Martin Media grew up. We stopped just handing over videos and started building systems: the strategy, the consistency, and the follow-through that turn a great story into steady growth. Film production meets a marketing engine that actually runs, month after month.
