City of Soldotna
Unifying commerce, community resilience, and public storytelling along the Kenai River.
Martin Media partnered with the City of Soldotna to produce economic resilience campaigns, community park features, downtown development footage, and public broadcast assets that celebrate Peninsula enterprise.
The Mission & Challenge
During periods of rapid economic shifts and community transitions, municipal leaders needed clear, uplifting visual media to champion local merchants, communicate public health protocols, and promote civic investment without sounding bureaucratic.
Our Production Approach
We deployed cinematic on-location crews across Soldotna's storefronts, river boardwalks, and municipal facilities. We produced the 'Shop Local | Holding Our Own' campaign and high school community broadcasts, capturing real shop owners, city staff, and residents in action.
The Community Impact
Our films drove hundreds of thousands of organic digital impressions across Southcentral Alaska, reinforcing resident support for homegrown merchants and giving city administration a permanent, high-definition visual archive for ongoing civic promotion.
