Kenaitze Indian Tribe
Honoring Kahtnuht'ana Dena'ina heritage and public transit connectivity through cinematic film.
We collaborated with tribal leaders and transportation directors to produce the 'Ride the Kenaitze Bus' community film and preserve elder oral histories, celebrating indigenous traditions and modern tribal enterprise.
Official Production Master
The Mission & Challenge
The tribe needed to increase awareness of their reliable, low-cost community transit system across the Peninsula while maintaining cultural authenticity and deep respect for Dena'ina traditions and elder leadership.
Our Production Approach
Our directors and cinematographers spent days on the bus routes and tribal heritage lands, interviewing drivers, elders, and young riders. We framed the transit program not just as transportation, but as a lifeline of community connection and cultural independence.
The Community Impact
The 'Ride the Kenaitze Bus' master film and cutdowns achieved widespread engagement across community channels, increasing ridership, promoting transit equity, and earning recognition across Native community networks.
